Plaza Pay Gap Report
Gender Pay Gap 2024
We are sharing our Gender Pay Gap report for the Plaza Group in compliance with the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021.
At the Plaza Group, people are at the core of everything we do.
With talented and committed teams across our Plazas, Service Stations, and Head Office, our dynamic brand has grown into a market leader, offering fantastic food and associated services for busy commuters, families, and groups.
We provide our employees with opportunities to develop new skills and advance in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Our success is a direct result of the dedication and expertise of our people, each playing a vital role in the growth and development of the Plaza Group.
What is the Gender Pay Gap?
Organisations with over 150 employees are required to analyse and report on the Gender Pay Gap for 2024 across various metrics.
The Gender Pay Gap measures the difference between the average hourly remuneration of men and women within an organisation.
Gender Pay ? Equal Pay
- The Gender Pay Gap does not compare employees based on roles, job titles, length of service, or experience.
- Instead, it examines total remuneration and calculates the difference between genders as a percentage.
Our Results
Although we adhere to standard rates of pay—particularly at entry level—our employees are recognised as individuals with unique levels of experience, performance, and potential. These attributes, alongside individual achievements, often determine remuneration levels, not gender.
The nature of the gaps present reflects the Plaza Group’s gender-neutral approach to pay.
Our Commitment
The Plaza Group is committed to regularly monitoring and refining its recruitment and promotion policies to ensure fairness and eliminate any potential bias.
We aim to provide long-term, fulfilling careers where every individual—starting at entry level—has the opportunity to develop their skills and grow with the company.
As an equal opportunities employer, the Plaza Group is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated.
Looking Ahead
We will continue to evaluate our policies and practices to uphold our commitment to equality, diversity, and fairness at every level of the organisation.
